A Dangerous Place - by Simon Farquar review

There are many real crime books on the market at the moment, but A Dangerous Place is by far one of the best. The book details the crimes and the subsequent police investigation in to a string of murders in and around the Greater London area during the 1980's.

All of the murders had one thing in common, that they took place near to railway lines and stations, and the they quickly became known as "The Railway Murders".

The author of the book is the son of the police officer who was in charge of the subsequent investigation, and the author writes with sensitivity and respect towards the unfortunate victims.

The book is well written and the research is evidently comprehensive, and I found this book easy to read and engrossing.

If you enjoy reading about true crime, this book is a must read, and if you are just becoming interested in the subject, you could do worse than to start with this book.
